ভুমিকাঃ আজ আপনাদের কে একটি আধুনিক মশা মারা যন্ত্রের সাথে পরিচয় করিয়ে দেবো। অবশ্য এর মধ্যেই হয় তো অনেকেই এটি সম্পর্কে জানেন বা অলরেডি ব্যাবহার করে ফেলেছেন। তবে যারা জানেন না তারা এই মজার জিনিস টি সম্পর্কে এখন জেনে নিন। :)

পরিচিতিঃ আপনারা ছবি তে নিশ্চয় একটি ব্যাট দেখতে পাচ্ছেন? যেটা দেখতে অনেকটা ব্যাটমিন্টন ব্যাট বা টেনিস ব্যাট এর মতন। এই যন্ত্রটির আসল নাম আমি জানি না, কারন প্যাকেটের গায়ে যা লেখা সব হিজিবিজি(মনে হয় চাইনিজ ভাষা) লেখা। এই ধরনের জিনিস চাইনারা বেশি তৈরি করে। তবে এটার কাজের ধরন হিসাবে আমি নাম দিয়েছি Digital mosquito Killer বা Electronic Mosquito Killer :D (কেউ অরিজিনাল নাম টা জানলে জানাতে পারেন)

ব্যাবহারবিধিঃ ছবিতে দেখে বুঝতেই পারছেন এটার আকৃতি ব্যাটমিন্টন বা টেনিস ব্যাট এর মতন।এটা দিয়ে আনন্দের সাথে মশা মারা যাই। এটা তে কয়েকটি সুইচ আছে যেটা দিয়ে অন করার পর। অন্য আর একটি সুইচ চেপে ধরতে হবে। তখন একটি লাল লাইট জ্বলবে। তখন বুঝতে হবে আপনার যন্ত্রটি মশা মারা জন্যে প্রস্তুত :D এখন আপনাকে সঠিক ভাবে নিয়ন্ত্রন করতে হবে। ঠিক যেমনটি ব্যাটমিন্টন বা টেনিস খেলার সময় যে ভাবে ব্যাট দিয়ে নিয়ন্ত্রন করেন বা বাড়ি দেন ঠিক সেই ভাবে। মশা টা কে মনে করবেন ব্যাটমিন্টনের কর্ক বা টেনিস এর বল।

কার্যপ্রনলীঃ এটা তে যে নেট দেখতে পাচ্ছেন তা বিদ্যুৎ পরিবাহী। তাই ওটা তে কোন মশার স্পর্শ লাগলেই টাশ টাশ করে শব্দ হয় আর মসা গুলো মরে যায়।এটি মুলত ব্যাটারি ফুরিয়ে গেলে যন্ত্রটিতে চার্জ দেওয়ার সুবিধা রয়েছে তাই আবার চার্জ দেওয়া যায়। এটা তে অতিরিক্ত আরো একটী লাইট আছে যেটা অন্ধকারের মধ্যে মশা খুজে বের করতে সহায়তা করে।এটা নিয়ে আমার অভিজ্ঞতাঃ প্রথম যে দিন কিনে আনা হল(দাম ৩০০টাকার মধ্যেই) সেদিন খুব আগ্রহ নিয়ে ছিলাম যে কি ভাবে এটা দিয়ে মশা মারা যায় একটু দেখি। খুজে খুজে একটাও মশা পেলাম না অথচ অন্যদিন বেশ মশা থাকে। তারপর মাথায় একটা বুদ্ধি এলো।দরজা/জানাল খুলে কিছু মশা ঘরের মধ্যে ঢুকিয়ে নিলাম। তারপর এটা দিয়ে প্রথম মশা মারার অনুভূতির কথা আর কি বলবো? মনে হচ্ছে যেন যুদ্ধে নেমেছি :) টাশ টাশ শব্দে বেশ মজা লাগছিলো।

সতর্কতাঃ যেহেতু যন্ত্রটির মধ্যে বিদ্যুৎ পরিবাহী নেট ব্যাবহার করা সুতরাং ওটা তে হাত লাগলে কিছুটা শক করবে। অর্থাৎ নিজের অস্ত্রে নিজেই আহত হতে পারেন :D তবে সমস্যা নেই ওটার দুই পাশে আরো দুটি নেট দেওয়া আছে এবং সেই দুটি বিদ্যুৎ পরিবাহী নয়। সুতরাং হাত বা আঙ্গুল লাগার কোন সম্ভাবনা নেই।

উপসংহারঃ ডিজিটাল যুগে এই ধরনের যন্ত্র আমাদের জন্যে খুবই উপকারী তবে, এত সময় নষ্ট করে টাড়িয়ে টাড়িয়ে একটা একটা করে মশা মারা অতি কষ্টকর একটা ব্যাপার। এর থেকে মশার কয়েল(অবশ্য কয়েলের ধোয়ায় আমার প্রব্লেম হয়) স্প্রে, অথবা গুড নাইট লিকুইড এই ধরনের জিনিস গুলো অনেক ভালো। তবে আনন্দের সাথে মশা মারার জন্য এই যন্ত্রটির বিকল্প নেই।

(বিঃদ্রঃ আমার মতন যাদের ভালো ব্যাটমিন্টন খেলার অভ্যাস তাদের জন্যে এটি ব্যাবহার করা অনেক সহজ হবে :D )

Finaly Mozilla has officially released Firefox 4 !!!

Mozilla has officially released Firefox 4 to the masses, the long-awaited update to the browser that re-ignited the browser wars. It's no conincidence that Mozilla chose now to unveil Firefox 4: competition is heating up from the likes of Google's Chrome and Microsoft's Internet Explorer 9, both of which have seen major updates in recent weeks.

Still, for their rapid growth, Firefox has already come in at well over 1.7 million downloads (as of this writing) and is still racking them up. Firefox 4 Beta users won't notice many changes in the app, but people upgrading from Firefox 3.6.x will notice a drastically changed and minimized UI that puts the tabs at the top of the window and moves the URL bar into each individual tab. They'll also notice the navigation bar reduced to back/forward buttons, which have been placed next to the URL bar.

Firefox 4 also introduces Firefox Sync, which allows you to save your open tabs, bookmarks, passwords, search history, and more to the cloud where they're accessible from multiple systems. Firefox 4 also sports some performance improvements, like a new Javascript engine and hardware acceleration, designed to improve the overall browsing experience.
